Colombo Fashion Week 2015
The 12th consecutive season of Colombo Fashion Week 2015 was held at Colombo Hilton pool side from 8th to 15th of March 2015. This time the Spring/Summer season of CFW comprise of a number of glamorous events which seek to uplift the fashion design industry of Sri Lanka and provide a sufficient platform to internationally promote Sri Lankan designers to showcase their work at the show. The impact which the CFW has on the fashion industry is realized through covering various aspects in the industry such as fashion education, fashion retail, designer development and international showcase opportunities.
This season the CFW comprise of a series of exciting programmes held within the Fashion Village such as Fashion + Food, Design Trunk Show, main shows, Workshops and TNL Music Designed. The 11th of February of CFW marked the successful conclusion of the BrightSpark shows where a handful of exceptional and aspiring designers were selected by a professional panel of judges, to be guided through their innovative process by the CFW Team.
