US Lanka Cover

Maiden issue of ‘UsLanka’ a bi-monthly magazine publish by Boston Lanka was launched recently.  The magazine will be distributed in Sri Lanka, USA, Canada, EU, Australia, UK and Italy.  The publishers are looking for distributors in other parts of the world as well.

This will be a premier high end glamour magazine published from USA.  It includes articles on Sri Lankans living overseas and in Sri Lanka who have excelled in their respective fields in addition to glamour related articles about Sri Lankan origin models, actors etc.

Two events related to the magazine launch was held in Sri Lanka and in USA. The launch in USA was at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Washington DC.   Hon. Jaliya Wickramasuriya, Sri Lankan Ambassador in the USA was the Guest of Honor.

The launch in Sri Lanka was at George Steaurt Auditorium in Mt. Lavinia.   Jagath Chamila, who won the Best Actor Award at the New York City International Film Festival wasthe the Guest of Honor.

‘UsLanka’ magazine hopes to set the standards of a high end Sri Lankan magazine  publish out of Sri Lanka that covers fashion, inspiring and successful Sri Lankan stories all over the world and hot topics and images of the glamour world of Cinema, Television, Music and Fashion scene of Sri Lanka and beyond.

‘UsLanka’ will be a good vehicle to reach Sri Lankans all over the world and publishers hope that the business enterprises in Sri Lanka and abroad would partner with the magazine.
